Webpage: Days Gone PS4
Plot: Days Gone is about survivors and what makes them human: desperation, loss, madness, betrayal, friendship, brotherhood, regret, love—and hope. It’s about how even when confronted with such enormous tragedy they find a reason to live. Hope never dies.
Gameplay: Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set two years after a devastating global pandemic. Play as Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter facing a brutal struggle for survival, searching for a reason to live.
The game takes place two years after a global pandemic occurred and killed almost all of humanity, and transformed millions of others into “Freakers”. Through the game, Deacon will be able to explore ruins, towns and buildings, but with the risk of meeting with not only freakers but also human drifters, marauders, militia and the wilderness.
Reasons why I’m dying for it:
- Setting: the open world post-apocalyptic setting this game has looks all kinds of amazing, fun to drive around and explore. From what we’ve seen so far in gameplays, we’ve got abandoned cars, buildings and towns to explore through the game, and there is always the risk of meeting up with deadly threats like freakers, other humans and “sick” wild animals, which makes it even more interesting.
- “Freakers”: I’m not sure if these “freakers” are zombies but they look like them. But zombies or not, I’m really excited to see more of them because they’re not the usual slow and dumb zombies, they’re faster and worse. And I’m also dying to know how it all started.
- Plot: just by reading that plot from the playstation page, I have to admit that I am very interested in what happened and what will happen through the game with Deacon, everyone around him, the freakers, and even his enemies.

And that’s pretty much it! Anyone else dying for this game?
