My 2018 Highlights!

Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone! I know I’ve been MIA for quite a long time now, but do know that I am alive and saving up my content for 2019! As usual, today I’m sharing with you guys my highlights from this long and tiring year where lots of things happened. First, let’s begin with my top books, manga and video games, and then we’ll move to the fun life stuff. Enjoy!

Top 7 Books Read:

I didn’t really managed to read many books for myself because of uni, but I did read some great things that reminded me of my love for reading, writing and the fantasy genre!

Top Manga Finished:

This year I didn’t get to start any manga, but I did get to finish two series! Reviews will be coming in 2019!

Top 4 Games Played:

After finally getting my power back on March, I’ve been able to enjoy my new PS4 and have been lucky to play some games that were a 100% worth the long wait!

Side/Life Highlights:

This year was an experience. Mentally, I can’t deny that it wasn’t the greatest thanks to the fact that I transferred to a new campus away from home, which made me feel like I was starting all over again with uni. And that was no fun at all. But I’ve survived two semesters at this new place and even made friends so things aren’t that bad anymore. But besides that, the rest of the year was pretty good! I got my power back around March after spending 6 months without it, I got the chance to travel to Europe during the summer and visited places I never thought I’d be able to see irl, I made some new and wonderful friends that helped me stay sane during this past semester, and I even joined an online magazine on this new campus! And even though I wasn’t able to read as much as I wanted to or even write on my wip’s, I re-discovered my love for fantasy books and I feel quite inspired for 2019. And that is pretty much it!

Before finishing up this post, I’d like to thank everyone who was there for me through the ups and the many downs of this year (you know who you are), including those authors and video game designers who helped me stay sane with their work! Thank you, thank you, thank you, and here’s hoping I get to find some quality content again in 2019!

So, how did 2018 treat you? Are you ready to welcome 2019? Feel free to share some of your resolutions! One of mine is definitely reading more for myself!

Thanks for passing by & reading! x
